August LongRideHome Campaign Highlights

While things may have been quieter than usual here on the LRH channel, it doesn’t mean that big things aren’t happening behind the scenes. Au contraire, we’ve been busy run and gun shooters, interviewing the most inspiring people you’ll find just about anywhere, filming a ton of inspiring content, and working to expand the power and reach of our campaign.

Here is just a taste of what is coming up this month:

An Amazing Weekend at Post Trauma Support’s First Annual Conference

If you were looking for inspiration, you’d have found it in abundance at Tay River on July 27th, 2018, as several speakers gave different perspectives on post traumatic stress and various pathways to healing. I was told several times by several individuals who had been through the program that the experience literally saved their lives. We will be sharing a number of these powerful moments in the weeks ahead.

Next day, the action continued with the second annual Tay River Motorcycle Rally, attended by numerous riders, some from as far away as Fredericton.  The event included numerous riding challenges, live music and an amazing BBQ.

 LongRideHome Now Includes First Responders

We are excited to now include Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Paramedics, and Correctional Officers as part of our awareness campaign. These exceptional men and women are the first to run into danger and are prepared to sacrifice all to protect all of us. Given the heroic things that they routinely do, they certainly deserve our total and unwavering support–especially those fighting back from career induced trauma.

Powerful New Soldier and First Responder Interviews

If you’re looking for inspiration, we’ve got all you could ever imagine in the heroic stories shared so freely by Canadian Soldiers and First Responders. We’re storytellers by trade but our best day pales in comparison to their worst in the ability to share riveting and highly personal experiences. No one expresses the real deal better than these men and women and we’ll be bringing you some of the best.
